If you like using a trackball instead of a mouse, then I highly suggest this one.
Most comfortable trackball I have used so far, and I have been working in IT since 1994.
The battery seems to lasts forever... I purchased this same item around 3 years ago, and have one had to change the battery once, about 6 weeks ago. The cursor travel is fantastic, and once you get used to it, you can get pretty good at stopping the ball where you need it.
