Compact yet with all the USB-A, USB-C and other ports you could want
The CalDigit TS3 Plus comes loaded with ports, which is exactly what I need. I've got all my USB devices plugged into it - track ball, camera, bluetooth headset, keyboard - and all are working perfectly. And, with its Thunderbolt connection to my MacBook Pro, I don't need to plug my laptop into the wall directly. The TS3 powers and charges it nicely.
The TS3 Plus, even with all the ports it has, is still relatively small. I hope to use it when I'm traveling. The large brick of an AC adapter might be the limiting factor there. But I wouldn't consider this to be a downfall, as I don't think it's meant to be a traveling dock.
