Don't work right on 2 cylinder Kohler engines.
If you're using these coils on a 1 cylinder engine they will work just fine, the kill wire grounding wire will work just fine. Using them in a 2 cylinder engine they are a big problem.
These "aftermarket" coils have a different Resistance characteristics with respect to the Kill Wire grounding post. There is not enough resistance to work properly with the Kohler engine systems when using these for 2 cylinder engines. The coils virtually ground each other out and the engine won't start. However, removing the kill wire grounding wires from the coils and the engine will start and run just fine. But then you have to shut off the engine by choking it.
On my 2 cylinder Kohler I ended up remove these coils, reinstalling the one good older coil, and buying another OEM coil. An expensive lesson in risking the purchase of aftermarket parts.
