Excellent product for a great price
For half the price of a K&N, I got pretty much the same thing. And it comes in different colors. But the main thing is now I have a quality air filter that lasts much longer than a paper filter and increases fuel mileage and horsepower. Very satisfied with this purchase. Excellent deal for an exceptional product!!!

Original GM part
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is the original oem part from GM. The only other one I could find was produced by Melling and costed twice as much for some reason. Auto Zone and most other parts stores only offer the Melling part. I don't understand why because this part is so basic I really don't think that there's much that can be improved from the original oem part. Either way the one thing that I did do is remove the o-ring and replace it with a Fel Pro brand after I dipped it generously in some oil. The o-ring is what fails from GM but the Fel Pro only costs 3-4 dollars so why not. Hopefully lubing it up real good before I stuck it back in there will do the trick and it won't fail for many more miles. And just to be clear, my original tube had not failed to start with. I just figured it'd be a good idea to go ahead and replace the screen while I had it off anyway. But once I got to it I could see that I would've been fine just leaving the old one on. So the tube itself from GM is actually a quality part and there is really no good reason that I can see to replace it with the Melling version that costs over twice as much. Glad I found this one, saved me some $$$$.

Better than "Sticky Holster" brand
I bought a size 5 for a S&W sd40 ve. I've been using the Sticky Holster brand for the last few years but over time it has worn to the point that it slides around in my waist band. The stickiness is pretty much gone permanently. I really like this holster so far because it looks like it was produced with more quality than the "Sticky" brand. Only time will tell if it wears as fast as the Sticky Holster did. But so far it fits my gun more snug and I really like the design much better.
