Exciting and enjoyable in the Steve Alten style.

More of Alten's Meg series. Unfortunately it is an ARC (Advance Reading Copy) in a large paperback form, so if you have been collecting Alten's hardcover books like me, you'll have one paperback in the collection. Still a fun/exciting read.

Classic Harryhausen effects, great movie!

One of the best pre-CGI dinosaur movies (dinosaurs vs. cowboys). James Franciscus, Gina Golan, Ray Harryhausen special effects and a terrific musical score from Jerome Moross - what more could you want?

Real-life subterranean lake but with monsters.

Another awesome book from Steve Alten. You will want to read The Loch first, and then Vostok. Both nail-biting, can't put 'em down novels will keep you on the edge of your seat.
