works a treat

I didnt want an adhesive mount on my dashboard
This item is perfect
5 inch sat nav tomtom via 52 does not even hint at falling over no matter how harshly i drive
'Sticky' sort of soft plastic underside sticks to my dimpled dashboard - almost as if it had adhesive on it - which it does not by the way.
And when you've done with using it, it just peels of the dashboard. No marks left behind at all.
I had thought of using one of those weighted bean bag type mounts but this was much cheaper AND much less obtrusive (neater). A very neat item that does the job perfectly.
It takes a lot to impress me but I am very happy with this.
