Flimsy but priced very inexpensively.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich If you need an inexpensive boom light, this --might-- suit your needs, but it has some serious problems.
1. The construction is very lightweight. The metal used seems thin and soft compared to other bargain rigs. When the light is extended on the boom, you need to have a counterweight to keep the rig from tipping over. That's fine as many booms employ a similar technique. However, the boom literally bends from the light of the softbox and bulb and weight on the other. It looks (and feels) like it might collapse at any moment.
Likewise, the riser poles are made of a similar metal. They also bend under the weight of the boom arm and softbox.
2. The friction locks are not sturdy. The locks on the riser poles are loose enough that the telescoping poles freely wiggle.
3. The counterweight bag appears ready to tear open at a weight that is less than that of the softbox it is supposed to counterbalance.
4. The stand is very narrow for a boom kit. The feet on the stand have small rubber tips, which is nice. However, it does not open up wide enough to provide a stable platform for a boom light. It is probably good enough for a regular softbox or umbrella, but it does not appear safe for using a boom light.
5. The electrical cord is ridiculously short. With the boom extended, the cord is not long enough to run back down the boom and to the floor. The only way I could use this light without an extension cord is to not raise the light to its maximum height or extend the boom.
6. There were no instructions included with the kit. I've assembled quite a few lights, so I was able to put it together without hesitation. However, if you are new to studio lighting, you will not have any instructions to go by if all of the lights ship without an assembly guide.
Bottom line: If cost is the absolute deciding factor, it is hard to beat the price of this kit. However, there are many negatives that I see with it. I strongly suggest that the light not be left unattended for any length of time to avoid disaster should it tip over.

Great Part of D&D/AD&D History
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Although it has a second generation cover, this is part of the original Advanced Dungeons & Dragons core rule books. As such it is a great look at the history of the game. There have been a lot of changes between the original rules and the 5e rules of today.
A lot of people still play the original rules, and if that is you, this is a must have book.
