Memories of Memphis
I was glad to share this book with my mother who grew up when the early pictures were taken. She remembers when the zoo had a different appearance before the Egyptian front was added to the front of the facing. I remember as a girl walking with my great-grandmother from Poplar to the zoo every weekend. We could hear the howler monkeys from her porch. This book brought great memories that my mother and could share. Thank you for sending such a great addition to my collection.
