Shows the 1906 quake and stars Gable, Tracy and Jeanette Macdonald, great performances.
Well priced for this film I love, only draw back is the Chinese subtitles which need to be cancelled each time I watch it but the other versions are so much more expensive so I am OK with it. Film quality is quite good especially for its vintage.

It warns you well so beware!
The DVD is a horror film and is not for the faint hearted, it is not great viewing but if you are a fan of David James Elliot then it is ok, I will watch anything with him in it, I just turn down the volume when he is not speaking. It is definitely a "B" movie.

Geographically correct as where the search began in Africa.
History of the discovery of the Nile River and the dangers, characters and reaction in the Royal Geographical Society of England. The Richard Burton explorer character is very well acted as are the other parts . There is even a segment dealing with David Livingstone and his explorations. Very good entertainment for adults. Scenery is great.
