This tie is old & chunky looking. It's very well made, but just looks like someone's gran knitted it for them. I wouldn't describe it as 'skinny' either. I've got narrow straight ties, ('skinny' is such an inappropriate modern word given its etymological root), and they're only an inch and a half wide. It's quite thick too, so doing a 'Windsor' or 'Half Windsor' makes the 'knot' really chunky. Nice idea. I can see hipsters liking it, but for an ageing Mod it's a bit 'granddad' looking. Like I said well made, good quality, but for me a bad idea... sort of thing Jeremy Corbyn would think was hip and trendy... hehehehe
