Great Short Stories
I have been enjoying the Joe Pickett series for years. Box’s skill for writing novels is widely known and appreciated. I came to SHOTS FIRED with curiosity, wondering whether he could deliver the same caliber of expertise with short stories as he does with novels. Long story short, he can! The stories in this collection are superb. I am particularly impressed that he uses character development and setting as much or more than plot to tell these stories. In my view. C.J. Box has been a master story teller throughout his writing career. Don’t miss this collection!

Worth Reading
A cleverly written gay love story. Not too heavily sarcastic. Not excessively romantic. Not overly "gay." Just a likeable group of people interacting with intelligence, wit, and recognizable emotions. As a fan of this genre, I found ALTERNATIVES TO SEX to be a serious cut above....

This book arrived in perfect condition, and in record time. Fairly priced. All Richard Rohr books are worth reading. I have not read this one yet, but I am very familiar with its content. I expect it to be an exceptional book!
