versatile lens
I purchased this lens to go to asia. Halfway through my trip, i realized this lens is OK, but I wanted something wider. I went to the sony store to get the 28mm 2.0. By doing this, I have the opportunity to compare Sony glass with Zeiss glass. Honestly, there isnt much difference.
This lens does exactly what it supposed to. image quality is very good, but not sure if its much better than the 28mm i purchased. As for durability, the lens hood for the 35 is made of 2 plastic pieces. glue the 2 plastic pieces together, otherwise one will fall off and get lost (like mine).

great quality bar. worth twice the price
fits great on my m5, and the hood can close as well (not the case with some other cheaper bars) fitment is great. I only wish the circular brace is made of alu instead of steal, since the body is alu.
