Blatant knock-off trash
I am posting this review simply to inform buyers that this item is NOT a legitimate Nintendo product. It is intentionally designed to look like the Nintendo Classic but it is not. The official Nintendo logo is not on the controllers. Avoid this product and other similar “unbranded” versions as they do not operate reliably and will inevitably cause you disappointment.

Good, but lacks local co-op options
It's a really fun game and is great if you want it for one-player or online-play. Unfortunately many games these days, this one included, lack options for local co-op/split screen play. This mode is available, but one game mode only.

Prison Architect is a detailed and dynamic simulation in an environment almost never explored in any genre of video games.
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich At first glance this game may not be all that appealing because the graphics are extremely basic; however, the graphics are not important with this genre of game.
In this game, you get the unique opportunity to design and control (with immense detail) ALL aspects of a prison. Everything from the internal building structure, water/electrical lines, the rooms, objects in the rooms, etc. You also need to control prison disasters and emergencies and even maintain the staffing within the prison. All of these variables are under your complete control, with your decisions resulting in a unique set of respective consequences, which you also are responsible to handle.
What separates this game from other simulation games is the involvement of compelling plots and backstories. Each individual character can be looked into - who they are, why they're there, and most importantly what their lives inside will be like (as determined by the player). Want to give him a beautiful cell with a TV and other rare amenities? Or do you want to give one, many, or all the inmates far less forgiving treatment? That choice is yours along with so many other decisions you will make.
