Great concept but don’t waste your money

The kits that are sold as new will have defunct batteries in the cars that will last no more than a few minutes.
Answer from the supplier is you can replace the batteries. This is true but you must purchase them at a cost of £9 a car and be handle with a solder iron.
Then of course if the cars don’t work you are left with £50 worth of rubbish. Look on eBay for second hand deals than new as it’s only going to cost you more in the long run.
The linked mode also doesn’t work so you can’t ply against each other, but of a buzz kill in my house.
Also the cost of cars is massive, like £50 a car so adding to the kit is expensive.
On the whole the concept is brilliant and it’s a shame they went bust but please don’t buy new kits. Once they have your money they don’t care.
