From a Mother’s Heart: The Story Behind the Milk
My breastfeeding journey began with great hope, but life had other plans. As a first-time mom, I was an overproducer of breast milk, unknowingly pushing my body to the edge. On my son’s 3-month birthday, I experienced a grand mal seizure brought on by severe dehydration. That seizure revealed something much bigger—a brain tumor. Emergency surgery followed, and just like that, my breastfeeding journey ended. I wasn’t ready. It was a heartbreaking end I never saw coming. When I became pregnant with my second son, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted to breastfeed again. Not just to feed—but to heal, to reclaim what was taken. And I did. I breastfed him successfully and joyfully. But when it came time to wean, I wasn't ready to let go—not entirely. I started my journey by crafting natural, homemade soaps to explore and share the incredible benefits of breastmilk. However, due to regulations that classify breastmilk as “human remains,” I’ve been restricted from selling on certain platforms.
While this was a setback, it also opened a new door. My mission has always been to support mothers and caregivers—and that hasn’t changed. Today, I’m excited to offer a new line of breastmilk-free luxury soaps, thoughtfully made for the moms who do it all.
You care for everyone—now it’s your turn to be cared for.
