Super King: Building Trumpeter's 1:16th Scale King Tiger

Not Just for Modelers!

Pricey, but definitely worth it. This book should appeal to all WWII German armor enthusiasts and not just modelers. David Parker spent over three and a half years building Trumpeter's 1/16 scale King Tiger and the results are positively staggering. Every facet of the build has been thoroughly documented. The additional sections covering period photos and Mr. Parker's personal photos of the King Tiger's interior make this book a superb reference on Germany's legendary panzer. Highly recommended.

Good, But Not Essential

This is a great album. Pink Floyd's tour in support of "The Wall," is one of rock's more legendary tours. The band went all out on this one. Giant inflatable dolls paraded like manequins, a Stuka dive bomber soared over the audience before crashing behind the wall, and Gerald Scarfe's animation added up to a concert going experience that was unmatched. Sadly, no video record was officially released of this show (though there are bootlegs available) and this album was pieced together by James Guthrie stands as the only souvenir (aside from Alan Parker's film of the album) of the tour. However, buy this only if you're a diehard Floyd fan. If you have the original album and are mildly curious, then this isn't all that essential. But if you live and breathe Pink Floyd, then this is a must have.
