After unpeeling all the bubble wrap, I got down to the original box with the altimeter and instructions.Item was exactly as described - new in the original box: Thommen pocket altimeters have not been manufactured for decades so this may the last NIB to be found.

Well designed with great features.
Far superior to our SportDog model 425. The receiver is smaller though it not necessarily comparing apples-to-apples; the SportDog 425 is older and the original iteration.
