A Great Little Filter
I bought this Tetra IN600 on behalf of a friend, I priced up all the filters I thought suitable for the job and in true form as a Yorkshireman he choose the cheapest one I could find!!!!
I by my own admission am a through and through Fluval man when it comes to my aquarium, however despite expecting it to be crap I was greatly impressed with the ease at which the parts separate to allow cleaning of the impellor and its other component parts and with the angle adjustment on the filter output along with the ease of flow rate adjustment, the unit itself sits close to the aquarium glass without any brackets and the filter media is easy to access.
With this filter you have to put your hand in the tank water to remove the filter media which consists of only four small sponges which in a well stocked tank would require regular cleaning, my only real criticism of this sub £20 filter is that it is quite deep in its construction and the air tube is a little bit of an after thought, but otherwise this filter is great value.
