Enjoy this intimate glimpse into a bygone era
Dominick Dunne, the premier inside observer of Hollywood and café society crafts a very readable tome of his life in the 1940's-1960's. Presented as memoir / scrapbook, it is a fun glimpse into a life few could imagine and many aspire to. Numerous candid photos from the author's personal collection are included. Antidotes of his life as a middle of the road producer are sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, but always a compelling. There will never be another Hollywood as Dunne experienced it. Enjoy this glimpse into an era long gone.

Well Researched and Presented for Big House / Anglophiles.
Great for anyone into history. Very well researched and presented. The author did a very good job in attempting to bring together varied stories. But in some ways it comes off as a bit repetitive. All in all a good read. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I imagine some will enjoy it more than I. So I do recommend it.
