Good for my use case, but probably won't get your drink frosty.
I'm using this to keep medicine at room temp (72.5) in the heat (95).
I let it run empty for a few hours and it only got down to about 50 degrees F while the outside temp was about 75 F. It will probably keep a drink cooler than it otherwise would be, but set your expectations accordingly. This thing isn't going to get your drink frosty or keep it there.
For my purposes, it works great, and I'm able to keep the inside of the cooler within 1 degree of 72.5. I have an IoT temperature probe connected to an IoT power switch that turns it off and on as needed to maintain the temp.
The USB is just dumb power, and it goes to a barrel jack, not USB micro, mini or anything like that. As such, your computer won't detect or see the device, it will just draw power.
The top is also not well insulated. I shaped and cut a foam cylinder and it made a noticeable difference.
Power usage is a steady 6.5 watts while it is turned on.

Great switch at a low price
I needed a smart gigabit switch but a new GS108T is at least ~$55. Trading the PoE port for SFP, 3x the ports, and $20 was worth it. Also, it uses a standard C13 IEC cable which is a lot easier to replace than some random barrel jack.
