Does what your DSLR Can Not!
Shoots to 2000mm (full frame terms) optical zoom. Hand Holdable with built un VR, Outstanding picture IQ. Actually outperforms DSLR in reality, due to the crop factors. By this I mean the P900, at 2000mm equivalent, puts more pixels on target, than any comparable DSLR with a 200mm zoom plus serious cropping to achieve equal sizing of the final shot. All of that in an easy carry package, that won't weigh you down by the end of the day! Love it!
