Great album with excellent arwork by Murakami Takashi
I have to admit I first got in touch with Kanye West out of curiosity: The artwork in his albums are what they should be, an insight into the art movements of that era (in this case, art collaboration with Takashi Murakami).
Kanye's trademark vocoder vocals are sweet and melodic, never mellowing so much as to remind us that indeed this is Urban Art at its best. I can't stop myself thinking that I am listening to a creative, emotional and intellectual performer's work.
