An outer box to protect original box (and not show the contents) would have been MUCH better, especially at Christmas time! Had to gift it to family member in the mashed-up original box and explain why it did not look nice on the outside... or new!

Affordable and durable
This cymbals are very great for all players. I was skeptical about the Hi-hat so I quickly watched videos about this product and I was convinced that it was well made. 4 days later, mine came in the mail and surprisingly, the HI-Hat sounded better than I expected. I would recommend this item for those who plays in a gig. The price is very affordable and even greater, Meinl offers you free lessons, a pair drum sticks and an extra Splash cymbal, which also sounded great.
