Life in Ancient Greece Coloring Book - Dover
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Life in Ancient Greece is another in the Dover series of quality fine-line coloring books on a great variety of topics. They are excellent illustrations that can be used in many ways, not just to color.
I have been using Dover coloring books of all types in the classroom for decades. They are timeless illustrations that have been used on bulletin boards as well as for illustrations in notes, on tests, etc.
They can be reduced and hold their detail, or enlarged and used as components of scenery for school productions. Some can be used to create 3-D dioramas by using layers of paper separated by strips of foam board or corrugated cardboard. Others are great for craft projects - greeting cards, gift wrap patterns, box decorations, or beadwork and needlework patterns.
Because this title, like many in the series, is one of Dover's Pictorial Archive publications, the illustrations can also be used, with limits, in publications such as newsletters and reference guides. Their policy is clearly explained on the back of the title page.
The prices are reasonable for the quality of the illustrations. They range from about 30 to 50 illustrations per book, with some being double page illustrations.
I check their website - http://store.doverpublications.com - regularly to see what new titles have been released. The site presently lists over 2000 titles. Some of the older out-of-print titles show up in thrift stores, or on eBay, Amazon.com, or other sites on the internet.

Video camera extension cable
When there is a need for extending a security camera's cable, this cable works great. Although it has the same connectors on both ends, it comes with adapters so that you can attach it at either end of the cable that needs to be extended. Nothing is more frustrating than pulling a cable through a tight space, like an attic, and then finding that the wrong end of the cable was pulled through - just add the adapter, if necessary.

Mary Poppins London Cast CD
High quality CD.
After seeing a performance in Florida, I wanted to have the CD.
Even though it is the London Cast recording, it still sounds like the live production that I attended.
Although the stage production varies a bit from the original movie, the story is basically the same, with a few additions and some omissions. (You can't always do on stage what you can create with special effects in a film.)
