3m 4799 Black Scotch-weld Industrial Adhesive, 5 Ounce Tube
Pretty expensive for a tube of glue, and it's hard to apply an even bead. It seems to work on my Hayward multi-port valve, but I won't really know until I try to backwash. Extremely difficult to remove from the old spider seal, but that's probably a good thing.

Polaris 289 feed hose kit
Perfect replacement for the 16 year old original hose, which had lost its flexibility. Very easy to measure side by side with the old one, and to cut and refit. Just be sure not to drop the fittings in the pool.
