Sugar is Guilty
This book is written for both laypeople and healthcare professions alike. It's easy to understand the evidence and digest the case Mr. Taubes presents against sugar/sucrose/HFCS. At the conclusion - if not much sooner - you will be convinced that it is the refined sugar in our diets that is the root cause of many of our health problems (including obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, and stroke). And the corrupt sugar industry, the American Heart Association, Big Pharma, doctors, and healthcare industries are all profiting from our misguided belief that fat consumption and a sedentary lifestyle is the problem.
