Really works well! Very sharp, good colors
I have several lenses that I use on it. With simple rings I can mount Nikon and M42 lenses too on this FD adapter! If you own canon+nikon+m42 lenses, the FD version is what you want.
Some lenses make a blue spot in the middle of the screen if you stop down, others do not. It is very sharp. Chromatic aberrations are less then without the adapter! Really! It is sharp where I want it, and the bokeh stays very smooth. The character of the legacy lens is preserved.
It helps getting good pictures with old lenses on a m42 camera. The crop sensor would make a 50mm a 100mm, but with this speed booster it is a 70mm which is a nice focal length for portraits. I really use it a lot!
