Couldn't work better or be cheaper
I have two of these mounted on my bikes. The two locking mechanisms for the unit provide very secure connection for the GPS onto the 'tray device' and that onto the handle bar ring. I use the hand strap, looped on the handle bars, as backup security. That also helps prevent casual theft of the GPS when my bike is unattended for brief periods. I use them all the time, probably 3000+ miles without any problem.

Great tire
