This book is a great look into one person's adoption experience. It is easy to read and keeps you attention the whole way through. I bought the book because I have adopted from Guatemala also, though thankfully my experience was much different.

Between Light and Shadow
I bought this book because I have adopted from Guatemala and wanted to read the author's presentation of the arguments for and against international adoption. The book was well researched and both sides of the argument were well presented. The best part of the author's particular style in this book was how he personally interacted with the research and ultimate reunion of an adopted girl with her biological family. Very well written.
