Nice set

Used them for the first time on stainless they worked great gave a very nice finish on a 1944 southbend lathe model c 9 inch only problem I have is I would like to know what replacement inserts are needed

01 Suburban direct replacement

I installed this in my suburban and after adding some actual poly fill to the factory sub box it sounds great the front will not fit due to the enclosure but it's not needed anyway. It does not sound like a big subwoofer but I did not expect it to. It just added that lower range of sound I desired. Powering this with the stock amplifier. Added a jbl 250 by one amplifier to run just cooked the amp before the speaker blew had to go back to factory amp until the new gets here

Had to make it work

I bought this as I thought it would be a nice addition for my milling setup on my lathe the mt3 portion fit perfect but when I started to use put collects in and start using it the collect would not close tight on the part so I tried another part with exact dimensions of the collect and it would not tighten up further investigation the nut had not been machined out correctly to fit the shank after cleaning this up and getting the collet to fit tight to the part I noticed the run out was terrible on the part specs call for .003 run out and I was getting .005 after turning the collet in the holder was i able to get to .003 this a lot of run out still for a precision holder. Just for grins I turned down a part while in the collect from .750 to .500 and the rest part turned down perfectly do not buy this tool unless you are prepared to do some fiddling to get the run out down to an acceptable level.
