Simply captivating!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Of late I've been reading and learning as much as I can about this extraordinary time in American history. Not long ago while having conversation with a friend who has read much about the Civil War, I was encouraged to check-out Ken Burn's legendary "The Civil War."
Aware that the series recently celebrated its twenty five year anniversary, I feel fortunate to have found the Anniversary Edition. Now the proud owner of this Civil War "gold standard," I savor every DVD.
I couldn't be happier with the presentation, the photos, the letters, the stories, Shelby Foote's commentary, and its narration. What a find!
