Great Replacement!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I installed this on an Ibanez 305e. I've used brass or graphite before on other basses, but this was the first time I replaced a bass string nut myself. It went pretty smoothly. I used a rasp/bastard file to carefully remove about 3 mm of material from the bottom of the nut. I used a small amount of brush-on Krazy glue on the bottom of the nut and in the nut slot. I have a kit and do my own setups. I had no issues with It and I thought it was a breeze. It does seem to give the bass a slight tonal edge over the original plastic nut. I'm very pleased with the pre-cut string slots and they shouldn't present a problem with fairly standard string gauges. I highly recommend this product. I'm going to replace the plastic nut on my LTD 4-string fretless bass next! Very pleased. ☺
