Schlage Encode Doesn’t Disappoint!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Encode is a stylish smart deadbolt that is easy to install and setup. It took me about 20 minutes to install it and set it up. The only issue I had is the plate that gets installed on the frame side didn’t line up. The hole in the Schlage plate is much smaller than the plate that was already there. I could have either filed the Schlage plate hole bigger or kept the plate that was there. I chose option 2, I’ll just spray paint the existing plate to match the Schlage deadbolt.
I set it up to work with my Google assistant. The nice thing is you can lock your door by voice but cannot unlock (this prevents would be burglars from trying to unlock by voice). All in all this product is built solid. My favorite features are:
1. Never having to carry a key anymore. Between the app and the keypad I can always get in.
2. Knowing when the door is opened, unlocked , or locked via notifications.
3. Auto lock feature (can disable)
4. Ability to lock/unlock door from anywhere
5. Ability to give up “digital” keys.
