Fork Seals Dust Seals & 1L Oil for Yamaha XV750 M Mid Virago 81-83

Poor quality seal fit

I got this seal set for the convenience of having the seals and fork oil together. When I installed them, the dust covers were so loose in the fork body that they popped out when the tube was moved. The fork seals themselves also feel very loose against the fork tube to the point where I do not trust they will hold oil so I am now ordering some OEM seals to replace them. The only usable part of this order was the fork oil. Update: Looked at the fork oil bottle again once new seals arrived, I was sent the wrong weight of oil so I cant even use that. Complete waste of money

Parts match but are not of same quality of originals

I bought two of these kits for my bike thinking they would be of comparable quality to the originals but, while all the pieces matched the old ones, when I screwed in the idle screw on the second carb it sheared in half when it hit the bottom of the hole with very little force. I have had to buy a small screw extractor set to see if I can save my carb. I am quite disappointed with the quality of the product considering the price and claims of Japanese origin and it could cost me even more if I am unable to extract the remains of the screw from my carburettor. The pictures show the top of the sheared screw.

Very nice case

The case overall looks very nice and was easy to assemble into due to the tool less assembly. There is some warping on the side panels of my one but the warping isn't very much and if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't notice. Overall this case is very nice to look at and is easy to build into. It is on the larger side but isn't too heavy and the separated compartments seem to work well for air cooling. I would say if you like how it looks you should definitely buy it!
