It’s probably ok on light applications
I used this tool on an assembly that was very tight and the strap sadly tore in half on the first try. I had to add some rubber between the strap and the job to get the smooth strap to grip the job as it kept sliding round the whole time.
Granted I probably did use too might torque pressure for what the tool is rated for but considering it has a 1/2” drive end on it, I expected it to hold up a little better than it did.
