Good introduction to optical illusions

This is a kit with a smaller book inside. You get many interactive illusions in this book with everything you need contained in the book/kit. Includes small filters, lenses, 3-D glasses, paper mirrors and much more. The book is divided into scections based on the the principles it is trying to teach however there is not any great detail on the how and why. However there is some explaination which should satisfy most. In the book there are some classic illusions as well instructions for the materials. There are even some sterograms to look at. The only illusion that did not work well was the eyes following illusion. It works with only limited movement. RD has reworked some classic illusions or added color to some and at times I think that makes them less effective than when in their orginal form. Many they reworked without giving credit to their creator like the LIAR ambigram. If you do not collect this type of book and have others you might not find anything new in this book. For the price I paid from this vendor you should be pleased by this book.
