good reed!!!

the main reason for switching to a synthetic reed is consistency, that also affects tuning, when you get a perfect match to your mouthpiece(they come in quarter sizes and three cuts) you will see a big difference in intonation. this baritone reed on the old Buescher mouthpiece circa 1955 will play straight up on the chromatic tuner from low b flat to high f. tone is big and lush and warm and does not pinch off up high, and tomorrow it will play exactly like it did today! shouldah done it years ago!
