Very Realistic Model
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This HO scale locomotive was made around 25 years ago and for it's time was a high end offering. It is certainly a handsome and realistic model. As far as performance these units had Delrin gears on all 4 axles. When they were made an inferior quality Delrin was used. The result was that the gears over time split and then slipped on the axles, This was a very common problem. So. I had to replace all of these gears with new wheel assemblies. Fortunately. I had some. Once I did this, the locomotive ran very well.

The title was great.
I grew up in Bellingham and remember well the operations of The Milwaukee Road. The book brought back.. many memories. It was fascinating to learn about the early history of the railroad line. I hope they will do a book that deals more with the post WWII history of this fascinating railroad.

Fascinating look at behind the scenes history.
This is a very interesting book for those who enjoy railroad history. The only deficit is that the new copy price was $45 which I feel was high. I purchased a used copy in very good shape for only $17 including tax and shipping. I felt it was an excellent value.
