Closer to what really happened?
Read with an open mind, forget the other books and films, read this book as if it's the first time you have heard about the robbery. Written in an easy to understand format, read how the gang formed, who really was who, and the planning, the robbery, and what was made public, and now with new evidence, what happened, and who knew what really happened. Excellent read and well written by people from each side of the crime.

Sandakan murder and coverup
This is one of a few books which expose the horrors and murder of 2406 Australian and British prisoners of war by the Japanese army, from where only 6 survived, and became a cover-up by the respective governments. Totally a gripping and horrific story which is true, and needs more people to know of the horrors.
