How long until the plastic melts?
I have reservations about this product because the egg cups are made of plastic. Further, there is very little clearance between the bottom of the egg cup and the pan making me fear that it won't be long before I accidentally melt the cups when the water in the pan gets too low. Perhaps it will work well for others, but I have doubts about how long it will hold up for me.

Disappointed
Got to Great Britain and found these adapters did not work in some outlets - I had to go out and buy another adapter with a metal third prong instead of plastic to plug my things in. Perhaps some outlets require a ground?
