Cheap rangefinder does the work, most of the time.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich A small, handy, light and simple to use rangefinder with only one button. Simply install a 9V battery, start it and just point the reticle at the object and press the button and it will calculate and show the distance (in meters or feet, your choice) in the viewfinder. It comes with a cheapish cordura belt pouch for protection from scratches and dirt.
But have no illusions: the Bushnell Bone collector is a low-end range finder with low-end objective glass. Even in daylight, looking through the viewfinder is tiresome, but in low light conditions the image gets hopelessly blurry and will strain your eyes. In low light it has also a very hard time picking up the beam to calculate distance, and it has some difficulty in picking up readings from matte objects even in daylight. The reticle in the viewfinder is a rather big blobby circle that works well in daylight and open terrain up to about 200-250 meters. Beyond that and in mixed terrain, it gets more difficult to get a reliable reading. It feel and look of it is cheap and the plastic parts have spaces between them to allow moisture and dirt inside.
It's surprising that 93% of the buyers who have reviewed the Bushnell Bone collector rangefinder would recommend it and 95% consider it being of good quality. In my humble opinion, it's not a good quality product and I wouldn't recommend it, unless you accept rather low standards. It depends on what the purpose of it is, of course, but this one is not for hunting or any serious use. I'd suggest spending at least the double of what this product costs and get a mid-range quality rangefinder that has better glass and doesn't feel like it's going to break at any minute. I'm not impressed and I got tired of looking through the viewfinder after using it only a couple of times. For the money you pay for this one, I guess it's good value since it's simple to use and it does the work, most of the time, but it really cannot be compared to the mid-range rangefinders from manufacturers like Nikon, Vortex or Leupold, let alone the high-end German or Austrian stuff.

Good and cheap for fast home WiFi, but not for advanced users
I bought this to replace an older Netgear DG834G 802.11b/g-router with an N-compatible router to up my wireless speed between base stations on my farm. The ASUS N12E is small and handy, sleek and has a formal inconspicuous look to it. Good range with powerful transmitter, easy to configure, very nice GUI accessible through web browser. Recommended for the average user with limited demands on network configs. However, I will only give it 4/5 stars due to the fact that it lacks an USB port for 3G/4G USB-modems and that it doesn't seem to be compatible with my TP-Link TL-MR3420 router having the ASUS router in Repeater mode, with or without any of the available encryption standards. That's too bad, and I'll have to look for another N-router.
