A cut above the others.
Bought to replace by-pass loppers due to trying to cut too-thick branches that broke the blade after twenty odd years service. I was a little apprehensive about anvil loppers but decided to give them a try as the manufacturer is good and the price was right. Should not have worried as the tool cuts everything I throw at it. Anvils are recommended for hard wood, but this tool is equally good at cutting softer wood, probably due to its sharp blade. I even use it for pruning the roses! The ratchet is good for facilitating cutting thick stuff and the extending handles are a boon for higher branches. The quality is obvious and it looks good for years of service. Altogether a terrific buy.

Good quality item, just right for polish...
Good quality item, just right for polishing and cleaning duties. I even use it to polish my shoes!

Better than by brush.
Provides good coverage at a much faster rate than by brush. Only downside is tendency to run at start of spray pass or lingering during pass. If radiator can be removed and laid flat the process becomes very much easier. Dries much slower than other Hammerite products and room needs ventilation for preferably 24 hours to clear vapours.
