Plays great, some rough edges
A few minutes with a file to take off some metal on a few frets as well as some sharp plastic, and the guitar is ready to go. I will remove the strings and polish the frets eventually, they are rough.
Bridge needs to be moved and will travel unless you put some adhesive underneath. Just move until the 12th fret matches the open note by an octave.
Not sure why the fret marker is on the 11th fret instead of 12th, so you need to adjust to it being wrong.
The sound is decent for a cheap guitar, much like a small banjo.
Tuners are actually acceptable and hold fine.

Great for many styles, a classic like no other.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The pickup selection is so vastly different from setting to setting that you are sure to find one you'll like. I play clean singer songwriter stuff, metal, and a little jazz and classical. Big jazz chords sound clear as day on the mid pickup. The neck is hot enough to play palm muted thrash metal and speedy solos. The bridge one is just overall excellent for any purpose. The neck feels great, as any Gibson in this price range should, but you wont get this unique body style and charisma in a modern model. The tremolo isn't made for Van Halen-style dive bombs, but has a nice springiness to it and is easily responsive for excellent pitch variation on all strings, making leads and chords alike sound great. Phenominal guitar.

All PSP batteries have been sitting in storage for years, so you're not going to get one to work unless it is custom re-celled by yourself or a service. You can pull out the regulator chip and PSP connector and solder your own battery of any size at 3.6v, depending if you want to remove your UMD or whatnot. If that's what you want, sure buy this.
