Good Workhorse of a Camera, Tough, Light, Good Picture Taker for Closeups
This camera, along with the Olympus Stylus Tough 6000, 8000, and 8010, are good, workhorse, cameras that produce good quality closeups and medium range pictures. They are tough, waterproof, and don't suffer from the notorious Canon lens failure symptom. I got it to replace a Canon that I babied and it refused to extend the lens. Not a problem with the Olympus since the lens is completely encased in the rugged body. I use the camera to document the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy and it provides great pictures for the insurance claims. While the camera doesn't produce as crisp a picture of a distant or scenic subject it more than makes up for it with its closeup capability and documentation capability. Definitely a camera worth having on hand for whenever you just need a camera that works.

Good Quality & Good Value
I remember these Speidel Twist-O-Flex bands and how you could twist them into a knot without breaking. They still have that same quality at a reasonable price. I plan on buying more for my light weight watches.

Great Extra Phone
Good workhorse extra phone. Bought it to replace/supplement one that had been banged around and was afraid it would break some day. Have 4 others scattered around the house so don't have to travel far to get to a phone.
