Waaaaay more comfortable than expected
Bought this for emergency sleeping situation at home. Actually didn't expect to use it so soon. It was far more comfortable than I expected and certainly more comfortable than it looked. Cloth covering and foam should be pulled from plastic and aired immediately upon arrival. Off gassing is minimal, but it's better to take care of it before you have to use it. For the price, it's a wholly acceptable product.

Incredible Eye Opener
This is a real eye-opener for anyone sitting around complacent and happy with the times. Although some of the novel stretches the willing suspension of disbelief and there's a lot of bravado, it leaves one with the belief that tyranny can arise and can be defeated. Mostly, though, it's a roadmap to the way a group might prepare for survival and, subsequenty, survive in very, very tough and almost unthinkable times. I did find it was poorly edited in that there were three chapters that were "wedged" in nearly without purpose. They broke up the narrative for pretty much no good reason. The number one rule of novel writing is: cut, cut, cut unnecessary material. In that, this novel failed to some degree, although from an informational standpoint one can understand why the chapters were left dangling out there as they did add to aspects of survival techniques that might otherwise have been unaddressed. It's a good read and full of great survival ideas!
