It's a tough read but well worth it.
I read the abridged version many, many years ago and don't really remember certain aspects of it now. I love the story and intend to tackle this and the unabridged version.

Works for me.
I had dogs not getting along and didn't really want to resort to a taser. I pointed it in the air and fired a short burst, and they've decided the noise was enough to make them behave!

This musical has some beautiful songs. I love it.
I bought this CD to listen to in the car. I have the DVD of the movie as well. The men playing Raoul and the Phantom are probably not the best voices I have heard in these roles, but it is still pretty good. I love the woman playing/singing Christine. She's amazing.
