Kala flatwound u bass strings

Fantastic .. switched out the la bella' strings that came as fitted on my Kala Journeyman UBass for the Kala Flatwounds, well worth the expense, super smooth playability and tone, highly recommended no more zzzz noise when sliding.. I did have to open out the nut slot( small round diamond file needed) on the low E and the D to get these slightly wider gauge strings to sit correctly... but really no problem..the intonation is bang on and all the harmonics are true.. pure joy to play... Only downside was being ripped off (agian) by GB customs import duty...
