Great trail guide.
This book was published in 1992, so in the last 27 years, a lot of the trails in this book have probably changed to varying degrees because of weather, fires, human use, and so on. There's still a lot of very good information. The trail reports include round trip distances, elevation gain/loss, highest elevation point, the time it takes to complete the trail, and a lot of other pertinent detail and description, plus directions to the trailheads and even more interesting data in the appendices. Keep in mind, though, that distances and elevations are not necessarily accurate. We hiked a couple of the trails and took along our own GPS, spotting scopes, etc. and found them to be longer and higher, one by over a mile in distance and 500+ feet in elevation. Be prepared for those possible differences when you hike the trails. Despite that, the book has great resource value.

Great combination of colors, lovely paints.
I love these paints! This set of 50 colors is perfect, giving lots of options for all the intricate color changes you want for your project. The paints themselves are smooth and wonderful to use. Simply beautiful! The trays they come in are super handy, too.
