Hard to find 93-95 body style
There are plenty of 3000GT/GTO models out there, but not very many use the 93-95 body style where the car had (in my opinion) the best look. It is more refined than the first style that screams 1990, but before they went "Fast 'n Furious" with a large hoop spoiler and eventual giant wing.
This model has awesome detail, right down to the microscopic "Twin Turbo" lettering on the window. Very impressed! My only complaint (and it's sort of a big one) is that the wheels are not correctly aligned with the body, especially the rear wheels. The axles are too short, and the body is too low. There is no gap between the top of the tire and the wheel well, giving it sort of a "hauling a pile of bricks in the trunk" look. I was hoping it just looked this way in the photos, but the photos are accurate. I will probably try to modify it to get them in the right place because it is otherwise a flawless model! For how much attention to detail there is in every other part of the car, it surprises me that they missed this critical detail that makes it look "squashed" from a distance.
