Looking for an Angry Fix and Finding One
What can I say about "Howl"? Indispensable reading for a poet like myself, and strongly recommend for everyone else. Aside from the title piece, my other two favourite Ginsberg poems can be found in this collection: "A Supermarket in California" & "Transcription of Organ Music." I already Ginsberg's complete poems, but there is something so satisfying to have a copy of this classic volume to carry around in your back pocket. Makes you feel like a part of literary history.

A nostalgic trip to Windansea
My dad has talked about this book for years, so I made sure he finally had a copy. I haven't read it myself, but in his surfing & hot rodding days, he knew or heard about some of the colorful characters mentioned in the narrative. He tells me that it's a very entertaining & compelling saga.
